Saudi Cement sales decline by 10 percent

(MENAFN) Saudi Cement firms sales dropped by 10 percent in August this year, leading to a similar knock to the sales which fell by 9.93 percent, while investors dropped by 2.79pct.
Furthermore, Saudi cement producers produced 4.3mn tons in the same month compared to 4.8mn tons in the month before, while sales hit 4.41mn tons.
Meanwhile, production levels retreated in 11 out of 15 cement firms, whereas sales declined in 10 firms and increased in the remaining 5.
Revenues declined in the first half of this year by 13.98 percent year-on-year to SAR2.9mn from SAR3.37bn in the same period of 2015.
