Saudi, Egypt air traffic up 22 percent in July

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia and Egypt saw a 22 percent rise in air traffic between them in July and expected to post higher numbers in the coming few months, according to Arab News.

CEO of Egypt Air Hasan Aziz said that the air traffic growth resulted from the influx of thousands of Egyptians to Makkah to perform Umrah.

Saudi nationals choosing Egypt as their favorite tourist destination also contributed to the increase.

Some 20 Saudi firms plan to invest USD418 million in agro projects in areas ranging 100,000 ” 200,000 feddans.
