(MENAFN) Saudi Elect Co. (SEC) proclaimed that it has finished installation and operation of a number of elect transmission and interconnection projects at a total cost of SR5.5bn.
Moreover, they involve six plants for transmitting elect energy, five aerial lines for elect interconnection between a number of northern cities and areas.
Accordingly, the electric projects operated currently are one of the largest projects in the northern regions of the kingdom and will contribute to linking the northern areas with the main grid.
Additionally, the projects awarded in April and May of 2014 involved construction of six main plants, namely Waad Al Shamal Plant, Al Qurayyat Plant, Al-Jouf Plant 2 and others.
