Saudi foreign workers’ remittances surpass SR150bn

(MENAFN) A Saudi banker has ranked the kingdom as one of the top remittance-sending nations in the world, as more than SR150bn remittances sent from the kingdom.
Moreover, the bulk of the spending has been sent to many nations by almost 10.5mn foreign workers amid predictions that the money will be lowers in 2017.
Accordingly, the money sent out of the kingdom as per Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) was almost SR150bn by the end of 2016.
On the other hand, India, Pakistan and Yemen are the major recipients of remittances sent from Saudi Arabia.
