Saudi GACA sign USD394.51m contract to expand Al-Qassim airport

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabian General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) signed a USD394.51 million contract to expand Prince Naif Regional Airport in Al-Qassim, according to corporate statements, Arab News reported.

The development contract was dealt to Muhaidib Contracting Co. for a period of three years. The project comes within the airport’s scheme of serving an annual number of 3 million passengers.

“The contract will also include a new airport passenger terminal with an area of 60,000 square meters hat will be divided into four floors, including departure and arrival lounges and baggage claim area,” the airport’s General Manager said.
