(MENAFN) According to Saudi Grains Organization, its second tender for the year 2017 for the import of 770,000 tons of wheat to be supplied during the period “August – October 2017”.
The company said that the supplying on board 13 ships through Jeddah Islamic Port, King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam and Jazan Port.
The Governor of the Organization Engineer said the tender comes as an extension to the Kingdom’s plan to cover the domestic demand for wheat and maintain the strategic stocks.
Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Faris confirmed that the first batch of imported wheat was awarded this year with a total quantity of 730,000 tons.
