(MENAFN) Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources said that his country intends to launch Industrial Energy City project in the Eastern Region, which will help in providing thousands of jobs and to add USD6bln to the economy.
Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, whose also a chairman of Saudi Aramco expressed his gratitude to the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his directive to launch the projectز
Also he added that the project’s main purpose it to localize industries supporting the energy sector and cover industries related to oil exploration.
Al Falih pointed also that the decision to establish an industrial city is in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030 and to support the vital infrastructure of the supply chain in the kingdom.
