Saudi investments in Lebanon hit USD6b in 2011

(MENAFN) Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Asiri, revealed that Saudis account for around forty percent of Arab investments in Lebanon at a volume of USD6 billion, reported Arab News.

According to the ambassador, these investments covered a variety of sectors including real estate, banking, tourism, and trade.

On another note, the ambassador pointed out Saudi exports to Lebanon hit USD531 million last year.

As for tourism, Saudi accounted for 19 percent of Arab tourists to Lebanon in 2011.
