Saudi SAMA oblige insurance companies to Saudize workforce

(MENAFN) The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) gave insurance companies deadline to employ only Saudis in their claims and customer care departments by the end of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
SAMA’s obligation to Saudize the mentioned sections will come into effect on July, followed by another phase aims to nationalize senior and technical positions at these companies.
Governor of SAMA said that developing a national workforce in the sector is SAMA”s intent, while insurance and reinsurance companies Saudized rated of 58% in 2016.
