(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Almarai announced posting an increase in the company’s net profit by 13.4 percent in the July-September period of this year, Arab News reported.
The Gulf’s largest dairy company’s net profit reached USD143.8 million in the third quarter, compared to USD126.77 million it registered in the same period last year, while the company’s sales grew by 11.7 percent, reaching USD 871.66 million
Almarai said that this increase in profit came despite a fire, which had caused “significant” damage at one of its bakeries in Jeddah, which the company has not yet evaluated the financial impact it would result in.
