(MENAFN) Spending on information and communications tech in the MENA region including Turkey will reach USD242.6bn in 2017, an increase of 3.6 percent.
Accordingly, the next five years, the regional IT spending will change considerably, while the hardware sector is predicted to grow by 1.7 percent.
In the coming year, the IT spending in the UAE will be flat at USD6.2bn, although it is predicted to grow to USD7.5n in KSA and USD10.5bn in South Africa.
On the other hand, the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council nations are predicted to spend a total of USD3.5bn in 2017.
