(MENAFN) Starwood Hotels and Resorts Middle East’s senior vice president, Guido de Wilde, said that since the chain would launch 25 new properties by 2016, it would hire around 10,000 employers in order to meet expansion demand in the Middle East, reported Arabian Business.
Wilde added that the jobs would be covering all hotel functions from line staff to management, moreover, the firm would be looking for wait staff, kitchen porters, chefs, admin workers, drivers, managers, cleaners, butlers and security staff among many others.
He also said that the UAE would play a major role in the company’s growth, for in the coming few years, the company would launch 10 new hotels across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman.
It is worth noting that the US hotel firm manages 50 hotels in the Middle East and 20 properties in the UAE.
