(MENAFN) Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC) announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei, as part of the company’s strategic drive to enhance its networks and operations management capabilities while developing new business models for future growth, Saudi Gazette reported.
Under the MoU, STC will partner with Huawei on a number of development fronts aimed at enhancing STC customer experience while at the same time optimizing operational costs through better understanding of customer needs and wants, which will result in winning the customers’ loyalty
This MoU comes as part of Saudi Arabia’s plan to develop its ICT industry, which is the biggest ICT market in the Middle East accounting for more than USD7 billion in predicted spending in 2014, which included the construction of high-speed mobile broadband networks, numerous e-Government service projects, as well as a number of other initiatives which are being planned across the Kingdom.
