(MENAFN) According to a top Egyptian government official, Suez Canal Economic Zone is expected to target USD2b worth of investments from abroad and as part of it’s presented various projects before a delegation of British companies.
Ahmed M Darwish, Chairman, General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone said: “Several projects were presented to a delegation of eight British companies.”
Accordingly, the projects include a ceramics plant, a steel plant, an oil refinery, a paper manufacturing complex, a logistics service centre and an aluminum complex on an area of five million square metres.
Moreover, the eight UK-based companied were Weston + Williamson & Partners, Mott MacDonald, Carillion, Bridjes, Kadmos Consultants, Sarks UK, LF Fast house and Maximus.
