(MENAFN) Governor of Saudi utility Saline Water Conversion Corp. (SWCC), Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Ibrahim, said that the corporation aims to increase its production of desalinated water by over a hundred percent by 2015, reported Arab News.
Al-Ibrahim said that as SWCC achieves its plans, it would be able to increaser its daily production capacity from 3.3 million cubic meters to around 6 million cubic meters.
It is worth mentioning that the average Saudi household consumes around 250 liters per capita, which requires more supplies from SWCC.
