Tanfeedh’s initiatives to make 30.000 new jobs for Omanis

(MENAFN) Tanfeedh’s initiatives and projects are predicted to make 30.000 new jobs for Omanis in many sectors by 2020, while its projects will attract RO16.5bn as investments.
Moreover, the 5 projects are the result of giving more than 51.000 man hours to study three main sectors; manufacturing, logistics and tourism.
Accordingly, the manufacturing sector will see 21 projects attracting RO10.5bn as investments, while making 13.000 jobs and it contributed to the GDP at RO2.6bn in 2015.
Meanwhile, new investments in renewable energy projects will lead to 10 percent of the total power generated in Oman from renewable sources like solar at 2.500 MW.
