(MENAFN) Taqa’s spokesperson, Allan Virtanen, said that the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company signed a USD48.8 million contract with Frames Process Systems B.V., the Dutch company, reported Gulf News.
Virtanen added that Taqa awarded the deal to Frames after it evaluated a number of bids, moreover, through the deal, Frames would deliver the Dew Point Correction Units (DPCU) for the Bergermeer gas storage in the Netherlands.
He also said that Frames would design and supply the complete process installation in segments which would be assembled on location in Alkmaar. Furthermore, the DPCUs would include zero emission electrical heaters, heat exchangers and air-coolers; they would be delivered at the end of next year or at the beginning of 2013.
It is worth noting that the total cost of the establishment and the design of the Bergermeer gas storage is about USD1.1 billion.
