TE Egypt to collaborate with NUCA to develop telecom infrastructure

(MENAFN) Telecom Egypt (TE) will collaborate with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to modernize the telecommunications infrastructure nationwide.
Accordingly, Etiesal association emphasized technological solution which can be implemented for the infrastructure of smart cities.
Moreover, the firm must benefit from internet tech in smart cities, which can be applied in all public facilities to improve them, like water and elect facilities.
The telecom in the country has 90mn mobile users, 7mn fixed line users, and 3.6mn subscribers of high-speed services, which contributes USD 5.39bn to the GDP.
