(MENAFN) The fiscal results of Telecom Egypt showed that revenues reached EGP2.4bn at the end of the Jan-March period of this year, up by 37 percent compared to Q1 of 2016.
Furthermore, profit before deducting interest, taxes and depreciation hit EGP4.1bn, marking an increase of 41 percent compared year on year.
In addition, the ADSL market share reached 75.3 percent amounting 3.4mn clients, while its service offered by TE amid its subsidiary TE Data.
Accordingly, the growth was helped by the growing demand on data services through all retail units and the influence of flotation on various sectors on the corporate business.
