(MENAFN) Qatargas revealed that it has shipped its first Q-Max cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) under a long-term sale pact alongside PTT Public Company to Thailand.
Moreover, sources stated that the the cargo landed on board the Q-Max LNG vessel, Bu Samra, at Thailand’s Map Ta Phut LNG importing terminal.
On the other hand, this is considered as the first Q-Max ship to reach Map Ta Phut terminal since the start-up of the terminal in 2011.
Since 6 years, Qatargas has presented PTT with at elast 9 million tons of LNG, sending most of these cargoes through Q-Flex vessels.
