The Doha Metro and Lusail LRT to be ready by 2020

(MENAFN) According to Qatar Rail, the first Phase of the Doha metro and the Lusail LRT (Light Rail Transit) are expected to be running by 2020.
Qatar Rail managing director Abdulla bin Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Subaie told Oxford Business Group: “We are still on schedule to open the first three lines of phase one of the Doha Metro and the Lusail LRT by the end of 2020.”
Additionally, the construction of the metro is currently operating with over 32,000 workers, and with the beginning of this year, more than 100km of tunnels have been dug out of the 111km.
