BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has recently announced the name of the winner of the First Quarter Million dollars plus 250,000 Air miles prize from Al Hayrat in 2016.

The winner of the $250,000 plus 250,000 air miles was Mahmood Alawi Baqer Al Qassab – A retired Bahraini father.

The cheque was handed over to the winner by Ahmed Salah, Head of liabilities and Nada Bubshait, the Head of Retail Marketing

The Al Hayrat draw took place on April 27th, under the supervision of Mr. Shafi Al Balooshi, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce representative, in addition to BBK’s Internal Audit, Internal control and Retail Marketing and Retail Banking representatives.

The Winner, Mr. Mahmood Al Qassab has been a truly loyal customer of the Bank and the Al Hayrat Savings Account as he had opened his account since the first introduction of Al Hayrat in 2001. He stated “I’ve always known that I would win one day! BBK has been my first and only Bank since the eighties when I had received my first pay check. It has always been there for me and for all my financial needs throughout the years”

Mr. Al Qassab was ecstatic when receiving the news of his win and said that the prize will “open up new horizons for me and my family. It would help me pay off my debts and remove that burden off my back which will truly change our lives for the good”

Mr. Al Qassab continued to say that “the new Air miles addition to the Al Hayrat prizes in 2016 is a wonderful idea! I will use the 250,000 miles I won to take my family on vacation this summer and for the next few years!”

It is worth mentioning that  in addition to the monthly prizes, Al Hayrat will be offering Three other huge prizes in 2016, as there will be a draw for Half a million dollars  in July followed by another Quarter million draw in November and finally the One Million “instant Millionaire” draw in February of 2017. Each of these amazing cash prizes will be paired with matching Air Miles from Gulf Air in a total of 2,000,000 Air miles for the first time this year.​
