(MENAFN) Japan’s Toshiba Elevators said that the firm plans to increase its revenues in the Middle East and CIS regions from USD32.66 million at the current time to more than USD68.05 million by 2015, reported Emirates 24/7.
The company, one of Japan’s top 3 elevator firms, added that as part of its strategy to protect the environment, it would build green elevators that would replace conventional elevators.
Toshiba Elevators, which has its Middle East headquarter in Dubai, also said that it plans to establish alliances with partners in Oman, Qatar, Saudi, Bahrain, Lebanon, CIS and Bangladesh.
It is worth noting that Toshiba’s Green Elevators include 3 major segments: energy saving up to 50% compared to conventional product, Latest Designs with wide variety for different parts, and further Improvement in Safety and Comfort.
