(MENAFN) Total exports of Oman dropped by 24.2 percent to OMR9.42bn in the first eleven months of last year, from OMR12.429.8mn for the same period of 2015.
Furthermore, the Sultanate’s export revenue from oil and gas fell by 27.7 percent to OMR5.257.2mn for the cited period of 2016.
In addition, the non-oil sector showed a decline of 19.6 percent in export value at OMR2243.2mn.
Accordingly, plastics and rubber exports viewed a major decline, which plunged by 50.1 percent to OMR128.1mn in the cited period of 2016.
