(MENAFN) Toyota Motor Corporation Sales and Marketing Division for the Middle East and Southwest Asia general manager, Hajime Sakaguchi, stated that the production and shipment of Toyota vehicles to the Middle East would normalize this month, reported Saudi Gazette.
Sakaguchi also said that the full recovery would be earlier than what had been originally expected. He pointed out that suppliers contributed a lot of hard work to boost the recovery of the giant auto maker.
The manager added that although Toyota’s general production levels were still below their normal levels; the company prioritized the Middle East and ensured that its supply level was back to normal.
It is worth noting that Toyota faced concerns about its Japan-manufactured cars being affected by higher levels of radiation due to the nuclear crisis affecting the country but testing assured that the vehicles radiation levels were normal.
