(MENAFN) Syrian Minister of Oil and Minerals Sufian Al-Allaw said that green diesel supplies to Syria were halted following the international sanctions on the political troubled nation, Kuna reported.
The minister added that a 240, 000-barrel shipment of green diesel fuel is coming to Syria from Venezuela, indicating that this won’t be the last cargo to be sent from that country.
He also indicated that the authorities were looking for new sources of diesel from abroad.
As a result of the current shortage in diesel, both red and green, in Syria, the country saw long lines of people at fuel stations.
