(MENAFN) Tunisian Minister of Transport, Mr. Abderrahim Zouari signed several co-operation and partnership agreements in the transport sector during a work visit held from June 21 to 23, 2010 in Spain, Reuters reported.
The agreements provide for mutual recognition of driving licenses and a memorandum of understanding for establishing partnership in the sector of sea, air, land and railway transport and logistics, as well as a memorandum of understanding on co-operation in ports.
A framework co-operation agreement between Tunisia’s National Railway Company (SNCFT), and the Spanish Railway Company, was also signed to boost partnership in the sectors of new technologies, railway transport and maintenance.
Tunisia and Spain also agreed to create a maritime museum at the Goulette harbor.
