(MENAFN) Tunisia is offering USD1.26 billion worth of infrastructure and development projects during the latest Arab ministers’ summit in Tunis, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
The country’s secretary for international cooperation said: “t is a projects package in many sectors which we will propose to different Arab funds for financing to stimulate our economy.”
The investments offered include a USD414.5 million for a 600-megawatt gas-fired power plant to be built near the country’s capital.
Also, around USD476 million will be invested in infrastructure and roads across the country.
