UAE- Al Futtaim to build USD599mn Expo 2020 theme districts

(MENAFN) UAE-based Al Futtaim Carillion has signed up as the main contractor for the development of the USD599mn theme districts project at the Expo 2020 Dubai.
Moreover, Expo’s three theme districts will be named Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability after its three sub-themes.
The deal for development of the three Theme Districts is the first of Dh11bn construction deals that Expo 2020 Dubai aims to award this year.
In addition, the Theme Districts will be home to 136 pavilions for many of the collaborating nations and will host cutting-edge exhibits for Expo’s many millions of visitors to enjoy.
