(MENAFN) UAE has announced the adoption of the Emirates Science, Technology and Innovation Higher Policy which contains 100 local initiatives in the educational sector, health, energy, and water.
The aspiring plan aims at building an energetic knowledge economy in the UAE, with a total investment of USD81.6 billion, and it will include new national policies in legislation, technology, finance and education.
To create a sustainable wealth for the coming generation will depend on science, knowledge, technology and innovation, therefore this plan marks a turning point in the ambitious journey to develop the UAE.
“The UAE is working hard for a post-oil world towards establishing a solid future for the coming generations away from the fluctuation of the energy prices and markets,” stated the country’s president.
