(MENAFN) A study by the Emirates Identity Authority (Eida) said that around 30,000 Emiratis, or 13 percent of the UAE’s national workforce, join the country’s employment market each year, Emirates 247 reported.
Eida chairman said that the economy in the UAE provides around 150,000 jobs per year with 88,000 of which are in Dubai.
In the Arab World, the study said that between 25 and 30 percent of the youth are jobless which will lead to immense problems. The study added that 100 million new jobs must be added in the Arab World by 2025 to keep up with the current level of employment.
