(MENAFN) The UAE and Germany have recently signed a number of agreements on cooperation in the fields of education, electricity, culture, oil and gas as both agreed to further strengthen their relations, WAM reported.
General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel attended the signing of these agreements.
Shaikh Mohammed said that the agreements would provide the UAE with top quality education and vocational training, as well joint research for knowledge-based economy.
Shaikh Mohammad added that using world-class expertise in the fields of developing clean and renewable energy technologies.
