(MENAFN) Monster.com Managing Director for India, Middle East and South East Asia, Sanjay Modi, said that in December 2011, online job opportunities in the UAE surged 36 percent from the same period a year earlier, reported Emirates 24/7.
Modi added that the main sector that witnessed the highest online recruiting was education, whereas among occupational groups, healthcare remained the leading annual gainer.
He also said that strong recruitment trends were seen in most industry sectors like retail/trade and logistics; education and healthcare.
Moreover, engineering, construction and real estate were the main gainers amongst all sectors month-on-month.
It is worth noting that among the seven countries monitored by the Monster Employment Index, Saudi preserved its position charting the most significant annual growth, with a rise of 56 percent.
