(MENAFN) RAK Airways’ CEO, John Brayford, stated that during the coming 12 months, the carrier will expand its fleet size by the double, reported Khaleej Times.
The airline will receive its third aircraft by the end of March 2013, whereas the fourth will be delivered in November of the same year.
Brayford said that the third aircraft will allow RAK Airways to double its daily flights to Abu Dhabi, daily flight to Calicut, new route of Dammam, and raise frequency on other existing routes.
Furthermore, the fourth plane will help the carrier double the number of flights.
It is worth noting that starting October 3, RAK Airways will launch its domestic service to Abu Dhabi.
