(MENAFN) Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), has unveiled the launch of its new strategic plan for the years 2011-2013, to keep apace with the latest developments in the UAE aviation sector and also announced the establishment of National Aviation Studies Centre, Khaleej Times reported.
According to Al Mansouri, the plan will focus on security, safety, human resources, enhanced effective and transparent relations with partners, implementation of legal and ethical standards so as to ensure integrity and commitment to professionalism, and efficiency in improving operations.
The plan is also expected to contribute towards establishing the UAE�s international presence in this vital sector, explained Al Mansouri.
Moreover, the GCAA announced the establishment of the National Aviation Studies Centre to train its staff as well as the employees of other aviation authorities in the UAE and elsewhere.
