(MENAFN) Germany and UAE have signed an agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, WAM reported.
The treaty was signed for UAE by Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and for Germany by Minister of Foreign Affairs Guido Westerwelle.
Following the singing of the agreement, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed stressed in a statement the importance of UAE-German relations and their mutual cooperation in many fields, adding that the signing of the avoidance of double taxation treaty was set to open new avenues for commercial and investment cooperation between the two countries.
