(MENAFN) The UAE is confident of achieving 44 percent of clean energy targets by 2050 due to the technological advancements in the renewable energy sector.
Furthermore, the country will invest in different forms of renewable energy involving normal photovoltaic, concentrated solar power and other forms.
In addition, the energy equation targeted by the plan involves 44 percent clean energy, 38 percent gas, 12 percent clean coal and 6 percent nuclear.
Meanwhile, the strategy will aim to invest Dh600bn to meet demand for energy and ensuring the sustainability of growth in the country”s economy.
