(MENAFN) AGMC’s General Manager, Kevin Hughes, said that in 2011’s first six months, BMW Group sales went up 29 percent in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates reaching 2,014 units, reported Emirates 24/7.
Hughes added that the BMW Group distributor witnessed a 135 percent increase in MINI sales that reached 174 vehicles, recording the highest rate in the entire Middle East region; moreover, AGMC’s sales of BMW Premium Selection rose 48 percent from last year to 300 cars.
He also said that sales of BMW 3 Series reached 372 units with a 176 percent increase from 2010’s same period.
It is worth noting that in 2011 first half; the company launched three new models including the new BMW 6 Series convertible, BMW X3, and MINI Countryman.
