(MENAFN) Drake & Scull International (DSI) said that its utilities unit inked USD27 million deal to establish a water project in India, reported Reuters.
The company added that it would set up an intake water system for a thermal power station in India’s Orissa.
The firm also said that it is strengthening its presence in the country, especially in the infrastructure sector as the current expansion in the construction segment with many large projects in the pipeline represents huge opportunities for the firm, mainly in the Water and MEP sectors.
It is worth noting that work on the project is expected to finish in March 2013, according to DSI.
