UAE’s Emaar Properties H1 net operating profit USD230m

(MENAFN) Emaar Properties PJSC said that in the first half of the year, net operating profit for the property developer reached USD230 million, reported Gulf News.

The company added that due to constant deliveries of residential units in Burj Khalifa and in Boulevard Plaza, the company’s premium commercial project, in the second quarter, net operating profit remained the same as the first quarter with USD115 million.

It also said that second quarter’s revenue went up reaching USD553 million compared with USD540 million in 2011’s first quarter.

It is worth noting that in the second quarter, Emaar delivered around 244 units compared with 612 units in 2010’s same quarter and with 270 units in 2011’s first quarter.
