UAE’s Etihad Airways signs agreement with Brazil’s Gol

(MENAFN) Etihad Airways has recently signed a partnership agreement with Brazil’s Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes, according to Gulf News.

Under the agreement, Etihad plans to place its EY codeshare on 52 Gol-operated flights across Brazil, as well as 14 destinations in South America.

The new codeshare partnership also “provides for increased co-operation between the airlines” frequent flyer programmes.”

Kevin Knight, Chief Strategy and Planning Officer at Etihad Airways, said: “Brazil is a growing market for Etihad Airways and we are delighted that the partnership with Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes greatly expands our business and leisure travel offering between the UAE and South America”s largest market.”
