(MENAFN) Al Dahra Agricultural Company inked an MoU with Etihad Rail to use its transport system, Arabian Business reported.
Al Dahra said it was ready to switch to rail as soon as Etihad Rail’s second phase, which links all principle traffic centres in Abu Dhabi and the Port of Jebel Ali, is operational.
Under the agreement, Al Dahra will use the railway to transport hay, UAE’s chief principle animal feed, as well as tapping the network’s distribution centres to help expand their offerings to their customers.
Etihad Rail earlier this year signed deals with other national companies such as Emirates Steel, Arkan, Etisalat and du.
