UAE’s non-oil foreign trade hits USD320bn

(MENAFN) The UAE’s non-oil foreign trade reached USD320bn amid the Jan-Sep period of 2016, compared to Dh1.170tr in the same period of 2015.

Accordingly, the share of imports in the UAE’s whole non-oil trade amounted to Dh721.2bn, compared to Dh713.1bn amid the same period in 2015.

Meanwhile, native gold and semi-processed gold topped the list of imported goods, posting Dh89.6bn, 12 percent of the total non-oil imports.

Moreover, mobile phones reached the second slot in the imports list with a value of Dh65.7bn at 9 percent, while cars came third with Dh38.6bn.
