(MENAFN) Monster employment index showed that annual online hiring activity in the UAE last month rose 7 percent, recording an increase for the second straight month, reported Emirates 24/7.
The recruitment website added that the main sectors that witnessed high employment were healthcare and education, followed by oil and gas and banking and finance.
On the other hand, it said that annual online growth in Saudi surged 52 percent year-on-year, with demand recorded in several sectors including advertising, market research, public relations, media and entertainment, followed by retail and trade and logistics.
It also said that compared to November of last year, healthcare sector hiked 43 percent, followed by education which increased 40 percent, however, oil and gas fell 4 percent, chemicals/ plastic/ rubber, paints, fertilizer/ pesticides dropped 18 percent, moreover, online recruitment in the hospitality sector decreased 10 percent.
