UAE’s SAIF Zone, China to bolster trade relations

(MENAFN) The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF) is presently eying more opportunities for trade arrangements with China, particularly in the food and beverage sector, Xinhua reported.

The United Arab Emirates have been playing an immense role as a facilitator of more effective and prosperous trade with China exemplified by more than 100 food and beverage firms in SAIF Zone that houses 6,800 firms from 149 different nations.

“China is a very crucial trade partner for Sharjah as both sides achieved a growth rate of 10 percent last year in bilateral trade,” the Director of SAIF said in a corporate statement.
