(MENAFN) The United Kingdom and the UAE have seen a significant growth in trade and investment between them, and are expected to continue flourishing over the following years, according to Khaleej Times.
Bilateral trade between them has boosted by 11 percent in the first three quarters of 2013, and is expected to exceed USD 19.97 billion by 2015.
British ambassador to the UAE Dominic Jermey said: “We look forward to the Dubai Centre opening in April, the second will open in Abu Dhabi later this year.”
The ambassador said British companies will be able to support Dubai in the build up to hosting Expo 2020 and “we anticipate the opportunities for British businesses could extend to approximately “1.2 billion.”
