US firm to enhance Egypt power plant production at USD30m

(MENAFN) The US Co. Energy Recovery made a bid to Egypt Ministry of Elect in order to modernize and enhance the efficiency of the production units of City power plant at USD30mn.
Accordingly, the firm offered a comprehensive financing offer in collaboration with three foreign banks to increase the plant efficiency.
Additionally, the company also aims to introduce the latest tech to Egypt amid the FINANCE+ EPC global investment system, which provides the needed investments.
The government contracted with Siemens to develop a number of recent plants in the country, while the firm is involved in restoring and upgrading a number of plants.
