(MENAFN) Virgin Atlantic said that following the arrival of the carrier’s A330 and 787 Dreamliner aircraft, the firm considers expanding its Middle East route, reported Arabian Business.
The carrier added that at the current time, it has no immediate plan to add a second daily service from Dubai; however, over the coming 2 years, the carrier might increase its services to and from Dubai to London if the market conditions were right.
The airline, which is controlled by the British billionaire Richard Branson, also said that it originate around 25 percent of its revenue of out of Dubai and 75 percent from the UK.
It is worth noting that Virgin said it planned to hire additional 500 cabin staff, under plans to expand its network and fleet for the current year.
