(MENAFN) Qatar’s Vodafone posted USD633.56 million revenues for the fiscal year 2014-15, marking a 9 percent growth in customer subscriptions, according to the company’s vice chairman, Gulf Times reported.
Subscriptions increased to 1.44 million by the end of March, with 117,000 new subscriptions registered in the first quarter, the vice chairman added in a meeting.
In an attempt to capitalize on this success, Vodafone presently looks to increase the number of indoor and outdoor 4G and 4G+ sites in key locations across the country.
“The year was once again defined by solid results for Vodafone Qatar, underpinned by a 9 percent growth in our customer base,” the vice chairman’s statement said.
