(MENAFN) Vodafone Qatar’s CEO, Richard Daly, said that the firm managed to reduce it net loss from USD125.40 million in 2010 to USD98.66 million in 2011, reported The Peninsula.
Daly added that in the period, total revenues surged 39 percent to USD248.71 million, compared with USD68.27 million recorded in the previous year.
He also said that as of December 31, mobile customer base grew 12 percent year-on-year, reaching 797,000 subscribers; on the other hand, new 46,000 customers were pre-activated last month.
It is worth noting that Vodafone Qatar plans to enhance indoor coverage and increase data speeds over the next quarter at the same time as preparing for the launch of the traditional post pay services, which is considered a chief project in 2012.
